I paid ~$250 for a new unit and am very happy with it. It's a bit of a hastle to update the software and the maps but it is worth it. It can be a little slow to link up to the satelites at times (2-3 minutes) but for the cost I'm happy with my purchase. Works weel on both my car and motorcycle. The storage space for music & video on the hard drive is great bonus. An FYI if you have a PSP the power adapter is the same as this GPS (both home and car) so you can save some money and not buy the home kit. -- Great item for the price

Got the eAvinu a few weeks ago, did not read instructions, just plugged it in. It guided me accurately from Tenn. to WV then on to Monroeville, PA. All turns and guidance was right-on. Pretty fast and it was very accurate. Hope reading the intructions doesn't mess up how well it works out of the box! No reason to mess things up, I'll just destroy the owners manual..don't need it! -- Excellent on my first trip!
